Joining Riley Construction in 1996, Matt has led some of the company’s largest projects and gained an operations management acumen. This experience earned him a position as a shareholder, and has honed his skills as a leader not only in the daily operations of the company, but in the competitive positioning of Riley as one of the leading construction firms in the region known for its high-degree of customer service and streamlined project delivery methods.
A Spartan tried and true, Matt was born and raised in Michigan, right through his education at Michigan State University, earning his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. He is focused on family and giving back to his community through his personal involvement with several organizations. He has served on the board of directors for the Shalom Center of the Interfaith Network, and has also played a key role on the buildings and grounds team for his church, First Presbyterian Church of Kenosha. Matt is currently a member of the Board of Directors for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation heading the Government Relations Team and is also on the Tri-County Trowel Trade Apprenticeship Committee.
