Matt Prince Chief Executive Officer

Matt joined Riley in 1996, eventually being named the first President outside the Riley family in 2014. He moved into his current role of CEO in 2022. Matt earned his B.S. in civil engineering from Michigan State University.

After over 25 years in the industry, Matt has never regretted his decision to pursue a construction career. “The industry is great. You get to build something tangible with people from all walks of life and backgrounds and types of skills or education,” he said. “They all come together to accomplish something that adds value to a company, or a community, or both.”

Matt lives near Riley’s Kenosha headquarters with his wife Jodi; children Isaac, Mia, and Shelby; and two “poorly behaved” dogs, Mojo and Sam. When he’s not working, Matt spends time with friends and family in the Northwoods of Wisconsin. He’s also been involved with a variety of community groups, including the Shalom Center and Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF).

Fun Fact?I have never seen the movie ‘Top Gun,’ neither the original nor the new one. I also have a large vintage vinyl collection.”
