A 1,200,000-square-foot industrial warehouse, the first project on the 309-acre site development and infrastructure in the Village of Somers. The facility features 60’ speed bays, 36’ clear height, 160 truck docks and 8 drive-in docks. The roof structure features R-20 insulation and 60 solar tube skylights. The project’s schedule was expedited and extremely fast-paced, which required the pre-ordering of the precast concrete wall panels. The entire exterior pavement, parking, and roadway areas are cast-in-place concrete. Riley also managed the owner’s direct contract for sitework and infrastructure. The project included design-build for fire protection, plumbing, mechanical, and electrical systems, and Riley self-performed 3% of the trades.
Located at Highways S and H, east of the Interstate 94 interchange, the site is accessible to I-94 from three 4-way interchanges and offers frontage along the Canadian Pacific Railway with potential rail access.
