This new two-story police station was constructed on an open lot that previously housed a shopping center. The existing buildings on the site were demolished, and soil abatement was necessary prior to construction due to a drycleaning facility being part of the previous structure.
Features include a bullet-resistant entryway with restricted public access and a second-floor community room for public use. The squad garage houses a drive-in bay for direct access to the evidence storage/review room and a large open area for storage and benches for easy access and departure. The first and second floor offices feature an open design to encourage collaboration as well as private offices for specific employees.
Riley also constructed a new parking lot and main drive. The existing drive access was reworked to improve traffic flow.
