Riley Construction Company provided construction services for the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee campus. The project involved the remodeling of four stories above grade and one story below in the Fine Arts Building. The Fine Arts building contains classrooms, offices, the Arts Recital Hall with seating for 300, and studios for the school radio station WUWM, located in the lower level.
The Bolton Hall project included the remodeling of 48,500 gross square feet on four stories plus construction of 1,700 square feet of a one-story infill. The work included selective demolition, new building entrance, new masonry partitions, aluminum storefront, millwork, flooring, ceilings, audio visual equipment and 475 seat auditorium. It also included reworking portions of the HVAC system, including two new air handling units. In addition to the auditorium, areas covered by the remodeling included classrooms, computer labs, administrative offices and registration terminals.
