PABST Professional Center

Milwaukee, Wisconsin

The Pabst Professional Center is a five story building adding to ‘The Brewery’ neighborhood in Milwaukee Wisconsin.  The 73,100-square-footboffice building has 42,000 square feet of leasable office space and 68 parking spaces.  The Pabst Professional Center’s office space is on the upper three floors and has two floors of interior parking spaces.  Pabst Professional Center’s block is just south of the Grain Silos and west of the Brewhouse Inn & Suites hotel.

Located in the neighborhood that was once a promising brewery, this modern building design evokes a reminiscent industrial quality, of its historic surroundings.  The use of glass, dark brick cladding, and warm wood tones create a rich material palette and is a modern interpretation of the historic district that helps define the shell of the building, creating a rich balance of colors and textures that in turn, enhance the adjacent buildings.  With floor to ceiling glass on the prominent southwest corner of the building, the project acts as a beacon of the district that not only terminates the Juneau Avenue corridor but is also highly visible with the freeway directly to the west, adding a diversity of design to the former brewery complex.
