Riley Construction has been serving Oakton Community College since 1999. Over that time, we completed numerous projects for the college, including a new One-Stop Enrollment Center at the Ray Hartsein Campus, in the Des Plaines campus, as well as many other remodeling projects at both campus sites. Most recently, we provided independent cost estimating services for their Science and Health Careers Instructional Building at the Des Plaines campus.
Some of the projects at the Des Plaines Campus included demolition and replacement of the existing entrances at two buildings, and construction of a new mezzanine and theater locker rooms in the existing theater. Riley also constructed new permeable paver sidewalks and parking area. This required the entire project to be completed within 100 calendar days. We also provided construction services for renovation of faculty offices, including demolition of office areas, in different parts of the building, upgrading mechanical, electrical and plumbing, new drywall ceilings, carpet, wood doors, new casework and painting; and at the Skokie Campus the demolition and renovation of two existing restrooms.
