The project consisted of converting office space into a new QC Lab. Work included demolition of existing finishes, minor drywall, carpentry work and new lab finishes. Seamless sheet vinyl flooring, humidity resistant ceiling tiles and epoxy painted walls complete the space.
The job included abundant MEP modifications to the existing building systems. The owner provided and installed the lab casework and equipment. Abbott purchased a new roof top air handling unit and support steel, and rigged and set the unit. Riley Construction was responsible for demolishing the ductwork off of the old system, and installing the new duct and piping to the unit that serves the lab only. It was a very heavy mechanical project.
